Danielle Wilson
Danielle is an entrepreneur at heart, having started 3 new business concepts and companies from the ground up that now constitute her CS Group of which CS-PR is a key component. She has prepared and executed tailored business plans based on a set of identified requirements in the UAE and regional retail, fashion and PR market. By actively enhancing lines of communication with major retail companies she has developed strategic partnerships with key media outlets and grown a dynamic client and customer database. A firm believer in the power of cross collaboration, Danielle has simultaneously operated 3 different types of businesses but with similar synergies that can be applied across the complete spectrum of marketing and PR. She has developed and implemented creative and unique marketing and PR strategies and proposals that cover industries such as hand bags, retail outlets, skin care, furniture, accessories and fashion designers.
In a 3 month start up phase, the CS-PR group already had a clientele that included Aiisha Ramadan (fashion designer), House of Zunn (furniture store), Kaya Skin Clinic (skin care & beauty), and Mapochette.com (handbags). Currently, the CS-PR group has a portfolio of over 12 companies and brands with 1 pro bono mandate for The Dhaka Project, a charity aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty in the slums of Dhaka.
Danielle has extensive industry contacts developed over a regional experience of over 12 years with deep relationships with all major media publications and outlets. She also garners an industry wide reputation of creating, organizing and implementing small to large scale events that complement client outlook and overall message.
In her previous role as Head of Marketing at ITP Consumer Publishing, Danielle worked across 19 consumer titles – Ahlan! Group, Time Out Group, Grazia, Arabian Business and Viva. She was instrumental in launching Grazia Middle East and Harpers Baazar. Danielle also launched Middle East Golfer and secured a 3 year contract with IMG for the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship as official media sponsor. In true entrepreneurial spirit, she created the Grazia Style Awards concept and the subsequent marketing effort and event organization that went into making it a reality. Always looking to push boundaries, Danielle was responsible for the creation and implementation of new marketing campaigns that enhanced subscription and readership across all titles. Further work involved coordination of advertorials: Taking client briefs and generating concepts, arranging photographic shoots and liaising with editorial and client on final product.
Danielle has formed strong, long lasting relationships with UAE and regional radio stations, television stations, online content providers, media companies as well as all major newspaper and publication houses. Complementing her marketing and PR skills is an astute head for event conceptualization and management. Her track record includes launch parties for L’Officiel Arabic, Grazia Launch, Ahlan! Arabic event, Time Out Weekly, Ahlan! Hot 100 Party, PR events with celebrities such as Queen Noor and Omar Shariff ; reader events- Desperate Housewives / corporate hospitality/ Award Dinners – Arabian Business Awards, Aiisha Ramadan and Manolo Blahnik fashion show on the Dubai Ice Rink and recently the Dubai International Film Festival closing party with Rotana and Fox Entertainment.
Danielle also manages the website www.cityshoppingdubai.com which is an online store directory dedicated to Dubai and www.mapochette.com the designer handbag rental website.
